Interested in starting a Church Lads’ and Church Girls’ Brigade Company in your Church?
Over the past two years the Church Lads’ and Church Girls’ Brigade has been delighted to open several new groups and to see growth and expansion in many of our existing groups. If your Parish does not currently have a children’s ministry for both boys and girls we would be delighted to speak to you about the possibility of starting a Church Lads’, Church Girls’ or Church Lads’ and Church Girls’ group. If you wish to go ahead with starting a group our Development Worker will work alongside you to recruit and train leaders and to promote the company in local schools and at events. We will also support you in the running of the new group for the first few months until the leaders have grown in enough confidence to begin to lead on their own. All materials and information required for the running of a group will be provided and for the first year there is help towards the cost of uniforms and equipment. It is for lads and girls between 4 and 21 years of age. You can decide whether you wish to have a Lads’ Company or a Girls’ Company or Both or a Mixed Company which may be beneficial for a Parish that has a small congregation.
